Nothing to writhe home about
Last week I was in Spain climbing in the Tarragona area, Siurana, Arboli and Monsant. Going on a trip with little preparation was frustrating to put it mildly. I was chief grumpy all week despite the fact I actually did some fantastic climbing. Personally I liked Arboli best.
This was my first ever trip to Spain and I have to say I was impressed with the quality of climbing and the varied rock and routes. Some stuff I felt was over rated and resembled local crags but some of the sectors are truly outstanding and makes the drive well worth it.
Next time I like to be in some thing resembling shape so I will be able to jump on some of the super cool looking lines I scooped out for the next trip. I should be heading for an off season trip to Patagonia in a day or so but if that blows up I might head back to spain for more climbing.
