Cool new route in Nepal

The South Spur of Nemjung

Yannick Graziani and Christian Trommsdorff (Piolet de Or Boss) have bagged a nice looking route on Nemjung 7140 meter via the south spur. They climbed the route in alpine style spending six-days on a round trip climb reaching approximately 7000 meters toping out the south face but not the main summit. They skipped crossing the long easy ridge to the summit.

The route is about 2300 meters and was climbed in 45 pitches. The climb is graded ED + and was mostly ice, mixed and snow.

I can only say Chapeau!
